If we need to modify the design after confirming the sample, what is the process and additional cost

Upon receiving your request, our experienced R&D and engineering team will conduct a comprehensive evaluation. We will analyze how the proposed changes will impact the production process, tooling requirements, and overall cost structure. This thorough assessment typically takes 1–2 working days.

We understand that flexibility is key, so we have clear policies regarding fees and lead times based on the complexity of the modification:

For minor modifications (such as small size adjustments), there is usually no additional cost. However, please note that the sample lead time may be extended by 2–3 working days to accommodate the necessary adjustments.

For major modifications (such as a complete structural redesign), a small modification fee will apply. In addition, the sample lead time will be extended by 3–5 working days.

To ensure full transparency and avoid any misunderstandings, we will always confirm any additional costs and revised timelines with you in writing (via email or formal quotation) before proceeding with the modification. This ensures that you are fully informed and have agreed to the changes before we start production.
